"To Catch A Criminal, You Have To Think Like One". You have to get inside the mind, and sometimes go to the darkest of all places and hope you find your way back. It’s never easy but it’s necessary. They are all they've got, one big family sharing their darkness together.
There's a lot going on in the BAU. Strauss is at it again, determined to bring Agent Hotchner down. She has been searching for a new agent to bring into the BAU in hopes to spy on Hotch’s team, much like Prentiss was supposed to. Strauss is hoping that once she finds this new agent, it won't again backfire once more. Not only that, but she and another team leader are also conspiring with each other to bring Hotch’s team down.
While these Behavioral Analysts are tracking down serial killers and studying the dark side of the human psyche, another darkness looms. This is the darkness of Organized Crime.
The world of Organized Crime has been around ever since laws have been around to govern the people. Families all over the United States have risen over the decades and many control huge parts of cities such as New York, Chicago, and Boston. Out of these many families, within these many cities, one particular man decided to test the waters and attempt to corrupt the heart of the United States Government, in Washington DC.
That man was Gerald Gallagher. A couple of decades ago, he moved the bulk of his organization from his hometown of Boston Massachusetts to Washington DC, in the hopes of corrupting the “incorruptible”. Gallagher managed to corrupt a decent portion of the city before passing away a few years ago. Having died without an heir, or any children at all, Gallagher named Thomas McKibban, an influential and powerful businessman from New York (originally from Dublin) as his heir. The city of Washington DC belongs to the McKibbans
With the shift of power, comes new enemies. The O’Reilly family of Boston believe they were cheated out of what was rightfully theirs. The patriarch, Michael ‘Mickey’ O’Reilly, wants nothing more than to see the destruction and fall of the McKibban clan. Both families, once friends, are now mortal enemies. Both the McKibbans and the O’Reillys have been plotting against one another, hoping for a moment of weakness in which to strike the other down.
The question that remains is, whose side are YOU on? Do you play for the McKibbans, or do your loyalties lie with the O’Reillys? Are you a clean cop/politician, or are you easily corruptible? Are you a civilian who will fight against this ensuing Mob War or do you hope for a peaceful future and wish to avoid all the violence? Join us, at A Criminal Reaction and you shall soon find out!
